Experience with Word

My experience with Word is relatively brief. I currently really do not use Word; I have been using Word Processor. As a whole though I believe I am very capable of using Word pretty easily. If there is something I would like to learn again about Word it would be how to find synonyms for words that I could use within the text.

Computers and I

My computer experience is lacking to an extent. I know how to do most of the basics, but am not really familiar with all the facts of the computer. I am good with photos and photo shop due to a Digital Art class that I took in high school. Other than that I did take a computer class in middle school, but don't really remember anything from it.

At Trinity I currently operate on a Windows Vista laptop. I am very excited about this class and getting a better knowledge on how everything works exactly on the computer. I really can't think of a specific thing that I want to learn in the class, just would like an overall greater knowledge with computers. At this moment in time my computer is up to date with all the drives that needed to be mapped. I had no problems Y, N, J, or S drives. As long as the directions are followed it will only take about five minutes.

Introduction to my Life

Hello there,

My full name is Garrett Bykerk Van Dyke. I know my middle name is weird and all I get it from everyone. To give you some what of a brief description of my life I was born and raised in Houston, Texas before attending Trinity University. I have one brother and one sister. My sister is twenty-three and is currently in Scotland getting her Masters' degree at the the the University of Edinburgh. She is definitely the smartest person I know. My brother is seventeen and is still in high school at Northland Christian. He will most likely end up at the University of Houston when its all said and done.

When it comes to my personality I am very kick back and chill. I may come off as a shy guy initially, but once i get to know you I open up a lot. I enjoy playing football, basketball, and video games; as well as hanging out with my friends. Now when it comes to my computer experience, that is some what lacking. I do have a lot of experience with working on images and such on photo shop due to a Digital Art class that I took in high school, but other than that I really don't know much. I am planning on majoring in Business Administration.
